THE Parklife music festival is headed to the Gold Coast and is expecting to draw a crowd of more than 35,000. Book and stay in accommodation close to Parklands only a short drive away.
After years in Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens Parklife promoters said they simply outgrew the venue and needed somewhere with much bigger capacity.
”Queensland Parklife has been the first event to sell out for the past four years, so we needed to provide our fans here with a better venue and bigger capacity where they can see all their favourite acts – by the beach in Australia’s premier holiday destination,” said Fuzzy general manager Adelle Robinson.
This year’s festival will feature Groove Armada, Missy Elliott, Soulwax, Holy Ghost!, The Dandy Warhols, Kele, Busy P and Memory Tapes plus many more.
Parklife will be held at Parklands on Saturday September 25. Tickets go on-sale July 1 at www.parklife.com.au
