In the second week of January every year the glamorous Gold Coast is the venue for the Magic Millions Yearling Sales and ten days of Carnival and society events surrounding the Magic Millions raceday. Two One Million dollar races are the highlight of the raceday, with only graduates of the Magic Millions Sales eligible to compete. The Magic Millions Sales and raceday has established its reputation on the international scene, and has fast become a “must be there” event worldwide and the only place worth staying at is Oscar On Main Beach Resort where the sea meets the sand in an idyllic setting at Main Beach.

It’s the world’s biggest Jetski Charity Run, being held on Sunday 16th May from 7.30am – 13:30.  Departing from the Marine Stadium Boat Ramp so close to Main Beach, the closest place to stay is at Oscar On Main in Hughes Ave just opposite the Boat Ramp off the Gold Coast Highway.  The trip heads up to Curran Point for Breakfast and a Treasure Hunt then return home.

Come to this year’s Body Painting Expo, it will be held at Parklands Gold Coast on September 25^th & 26^th.

The event will be showcasing some of Australia’s most talented Body Painters as they transform their models from stark to stunning works of art, proudly supported by the best Main Beach has to offer, stay in spacious apartments with a huge bath at Oscar On Main, the nicest apartments in Main Beach.

Artists will be competing in the categories of Body Painting, Camouflage, Vehicle Airbrushing Art and 3D Pavement Art.  Other Artists will also be available to paint members of the general public who must be feeling daring and young at heart then come be a part of the art!
