Are you on The Esplanade?

We are not on the esplanade, so we do not hear all the traffic noise as it is a busy road. We are only 1 block away from the beach and do not have any buildings directly in front of us. So all our Ocean View and Luxury Apartments have spectacular views of the beach.

Do I need to pay a bond?

As a standard practice, we do not take a security bond from your credit card. However, we do reserve the right to do so, should circumstances warrant it.

If it is required, a $250 pre-authorisation from a credit card, as supplied by you, will be charged. Essentially this freezes the funds for use by Oscar on Main to cover incidentals or damage that occurs in your apartment during your stay. If there is no need for the funds to be used, they will be refunded to your account upon inspection of unit at checkout. We can also accept a cash bond if you do not have a credit card available. 

Do you accept Amex/Diners?

We accept Amex, however we do not accept Diners. Unfortunately, we do have to charge a 4% surcharge to cover the extra fees raised by Amex.

We do not charge any surcharge on Visa or MasterCard.

Do you have a babysitting service?

Yes, we can organise reliable and checked babysitters for you. It is subject to availability and needs to be arranged ahead of schedule so give as much notice as you can to ensure your special time out is stress free.

Do you have a tennis court?

Yes, we have a full sized tennis court, as well as two separate BBQ and pergola areas, an indoor heated pool and spa, an outdoor pool, a gym, a meeting room and a steam room.

Do you have secure undercover parking?

Yes, we have a secure, underground basement car park, well lit, with lift access to the apartments above. The car park allocated to you is usually the same number as the apartment you have booked so it is easy to remember. Most of the luxury apartments have 2 car parks.

There are luggage and shopping trolleys available for your use in the trolley bay by the lift. We ask you to consider others and return the trolleys after use.

There is also plenty of safe, free, on street parking for guest’s visitors. We are outside the parking meter zone.

Do you sell theme park tickets?

Yes, we have friendly knowledgeable staff and an extensive brochure board with all the transport/tickets/tours on offer, in reception. We are only to happy to help you plan your holiday and transport needs.

How close are you to Tedder Avenue?

Hughes Avenue runs off Tedder Avenue. We are the second building along Hughes Avenue so we are literally a short 1 minute stroll from the cafes. It makes an early morning paper and coffee run very easy.

How often are your apartments serviced?

We price our accommodation to include a weekly service. If you stay for eight days, we will schedule the weekly service midway through your stay to give you the most benefit.

If you require more frequent services, we are happy to schedule that for you, for an extra charge. All apartments come with a fully equipped laundry, including washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board so you can look after yourself, as you wish.

Is your pool heated?

The indoor pool and spa are heated. The outdoor pool is not.

Where are your facilities located?

All our facilities mentioned above are located on the ground floor, just past the reception area.

Where is the closest bus stop?

We are extremely well located for public transport. There  are three bus stops close by - all within a few minutes walk. The buses will take you south along the coast towards Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Burleigh or head North over to Australia Fair, Harbour town and theme parks or over to SeaWorld.  We have maps at reception and are happy to look up timetables for you. There is also the Tedder Avenue light rail station at the end of Tedder, where the tram runs from Griffith University to Broadbeach.
