Great place to stay

I stayed at Oscar on Main in early april of 2013, with 3 friends. We were in a 2 bedroom, ocean view apartment, level 19. Was a great, uninterrupted view of the ocean from the balcony as there are no high rises hindering the view. Due to the weather we couldn't get to the beach more than once, but that gave us the opportunity to check out the outdoor pool, indoor heated pool, spa, and steam room. These facilities were so great - very clean, and obviously well maintained. The steam room was a particular favourite. The staff there were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The location is fantastic. Only a short walk to Tedder Avenue where there are a range of clothing boutiques, cafes and restaurants. An even shorter walk to the beach. The bedrooms were large - in one we even had an extra couch and TV, and in the other a work desk. There were 2 bathrooms, both large and very clean and modern. the larger bathroom has two basins, a shower, toilet and spa bath which was luxurious. The living room felt enormous. There was a large couch, large TV that had a decent sound system, DVD player. The kitchen was well equipped, and had more than we needed. I highly recommend this hotel, it would be great for business, families, friends and couples.

Luxury

Our two night stay in a one bedroom luxury apartment was amazing and just what we needed. The views from our room were amazing as always and being able to see whales frolicking in the distance was an added bonus. This is our third stay and im glad to say that we are already talking about coming back soon.

We spent 3 nights in a 2 bedroom superior apartment and loved every minute of it! The furnishings were modern and the apartment itself was huge with amazing ocean views! The location was perfect as I was down for the Gold Coast marathon. I was able to walk to and from the start line and we made the most of the Tedder Avenue cafes and restaurants after the race. Overall we had a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back next year! Stayed June 2012, travelled as a couple.
great location, good for kids

Have stayed here for the past 3 years during the GC marathon, easy to get to start line and handy to watch all the races. Kids loved the indoor pool and room (luxury appt) was more than big enough and views fantastic. Will be back again, and again! Room Tip: luxury appts have great views and size for families.
Home away from Home!

We decided to come back to Oscar again for 3 weeks this year after having spent a blissful 2 weeks last year. What can I say? Our apartment (23rd floor ocean view) was massive and well furnished with balconies off the lounge and bedroom where you could sit and take in the sea vista. We had the pleasure to deal with Jess who is an absolute delight and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend this to anyone wanting to stay on the Gold Coast!

Just spent a week, again, at Oscars. Found our one and two bedroom apartments very clean, well fitted out, furniture and, utensils all great. flat screen TV's in all rooms, including bedrooms. Staff is pleasant,and, location is great. The views from our 23 rd floor were simply stunning. Sound of waves sang us to sleep each night.
