Merry Christmas to you guys
Thank you it was beauitful there
Will stay there again kathleen sebalj
Had 9 fantastic days at Oscar. The area is quiet, yet not far away from amenities. Lots of restaurants around and the view from our apartment is breathtaking.
There is a security system at the entrance to carpark and building. Apartment is clean and spacious.
A big THANK YOU Angela, David and Sonya for making our stay filled with warmth. Will be back!
6 girls stayed in the 3 bedroom ocean view apartment it was so big and clean with a beautiful balcony view as well as neat views from many other angles. A short walk to beach and Surf club and short drive to Australia Fair shopping centre, Seaworld, Surfers and much more. The staff and management are lovely and we can't wait to come back, probably the most reasonably priced, nicest place I have stayed at. Thanks a lot
Stayed in apartment 66 on the 19th floor with three bedrooms. Views were wonderful. Lovely hard wood floors, great kitchen. Children had a great time in the indoor pool. Plenty of hanging space in bathroom to put wet bathers and towels. Clean bathrooms. Very quiet location, only a short walk to the beach. Sonya and David very helpful and friendly. Being so close to Tedder Ave was great.
We had a week in a lovely apartment on the 25th floor - superb sea views, complete relaxation in luxury living with well equipped gym and beautiful indoor heated pool and spa as well as lovely outdoor pool and surroundings if wanting to soak up the sun. The warm weather and gorgeous accommodation made for a fantastic break away from the cold climate of New Zealand and Angela, David and Sonya are wonderful hosts. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Oscar on Main!!
Just a beautiful week, to stay here is to relax, enjoy and unwind. So many things to do and all within walking distance. This beautiful building has 3 large apartments per floor and all can look out over the sea at the front and the broadwater the other way. They are large and well appointed - granite benchtops/lovely kitchens. So nice and loved having meals on the balcony overlooking the sea. Tedder ave for dining out so close as another special option. WOW/WOW/WOW how lucky are you who experience the Oscar - all class, the Remuera of the Gold Coast.
Stayd no 31 ,8th floor - Fantastic & David & Angela (managers) care. Will be back definitely.
Stayed in a ocean front luxury 2 bedroom unit (no 85) on the 26th floor - fantastic! Unobstructed ocean views directly in front, Southport Spit and the yacht club to the left and the winding canal behind us. Approx. 300 degree views from our unit. Each room had it's own balcony and large picture windows. The rooms were large and well appointed. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the furniture was good quality. The unit was large and well spaced out. The kitchen well appointed. We didn't want to leave! The only negative comment is that the large windows do not have security screens on them, which is really scary if you have children under 10yrs, as they can either climb onto the furniture or put their feet onto the indented picture-rail which goes along under some of the windows. Otherwise, we loved it and would buy it if we could! It's an extremely quiet unit and with the balcony door shut you couldn't hear the ocean. Great breezes, possibly too strong being that high up but who cares, the views more than made up for it! The facilities also have an indoor pool, spa, sauna as well as an outdoor pool, BBQ and tennis court (take white soled shoes and a racquet). Definitely no complaints!
Thank you very much for the best holiday my family has ever had. The kids loved the complex pool and the short walk to the beach. They also enjoyed meeting the local water dragon family by the outdoor pool. This place is close to everything!! We will be back next year.
Thank you so much for taking care of us at your resort - we had quite a few rooms booked as this is the place that was recommended by An Island Hideaway where my daughter got married on 24 August. Would stay again for sure, great views of the sea from every apartment I went in. :)
Hi We stay in the 3bedroom apartment it was very spacious and clean and the surrounding area was clean. We stay for the weekend and would have loved to stay longer. Booking in and out was easy to do and we dealt with friendly staff. Thank you
We had a family function to attend, we had four rooms booked. All family members were very impressed with their accomodation and the facilities, they were all very depressed because they couldnt stay longer. The luxury ocean view apartments are well worth the experience, brillant. My next stay thats the apartment I will be requesting. Great Management. Love Oscars on the Main.
Appartment for 4 on the 9th Floor.......whawww..... what a view from the balcony, looking out on to the Pacific Ocean and also the harbour/quay to the left, watched the sun rise absolutely beautiful. The apartment was superb, clean, tidy, modern decco and very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants and shops.....what more could you ask for. Angela and David top marks and thank you for all your help and advice. Would recommend a sea view apartment to anyone.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment, the rooms are large which is handy when you need a cot - available from Oscars. Rooms have everything which is very handy for young families. Best part of the Gold Coast to stay with Tedder avenue only 50 metres away. Recommend Oscar's to anyone.
My wife and I decided to get away to the warmer weather for a couple of days and picked on Oscars after looking around online. We have stayed on Main Beach before but at other resorts. I am so pleased we tried Oscars. The weather was not the best but the apartment was superb. It was very large and well appointed. The pools and gym were great and we were made very welcome by the staff. We will stay at Oscars next time.
We have been guests of Oscar on Main on a regular basis, we love the comfortable beds, how clean and the apartments are and the large space, but mostly if you book an ocean veiw room, it is amazing, the sunrise is gorgeous, and we have been lucky to see the moom come up as well. Can highly reccommend Oscar on Main and Managment are very friendly and professional.
Booked online through Wotif, usually when I have booked through Wotif at different hotels we have been given a 1st story unit with limited views and so on, but we were on the 18th or 19th floor here with amazing views over the ocean! had the option of indoor and outdoor pools which is good seeing we there in early may. Everyone we dealt with during our stay were amazing, the receptionist was lovely and booked a dive for us, it was just a really good stay would recommend it to anyone!
We stayed here a couple of weeks ago, after booking a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment online (super easy and great communication from Sonya). This weekend was a surprise birthday present for our brother and as we all used to live in Main Beach we knew the location was going to be perfect - close to the beach, Tedder Ave up the road, Southport Surf & Yacht Clubs close by, short walk to Marina Mirage and 2 minutes drive to check out Sea World!! The apartment had Beautiful views, clean, tidy and well maintained apartment and comfortably accommodated 4 adults. The facilities are great and we really enjoyed our stay - definitely would recommend to others!
Another perfect stay with the family. We normally stay in a 2 bed luxury apt but this time tried a 2 bed ocean view apt - it was marginally smaller, but the second bedroom was better laid out and the 3 kids fitted perfectly. The new managers are very nice, helpful and have some good ideas on how to continue maintaining high standards whilst improving value for money. Proximity to the beach and Tedder Ave, spectacular views and consistent high quality of service drive the Oscar to the top of the list!
Stayed on the 22nd Floor with wife and a 2 year old for the June long weekend. The apartment was very spacious, one bedroom having a comfy king size and the other a queen and a single. The kitchen facilities were great, even having a pod coffee machine. We know the Gold Coast well but had spent no time at this end of town. The location is perfect. Tedder Avenue restaurants and coffee places were just around the corner and the beach a block away. Unfortunately, the beach has been reduced in size after recent storms but a short walk would get you to a place to play in the sand. Strolling along the esplanade to Cavill Av is easy and enjoyable even with 2 year old. Management were helpful, the indoor pool, spa and steam room excellent for extra amusement on our rainy weekend and the trip to Seaworld would have been short had we been minded to go there. I would say, skip Broadbeach, this is better.
