The Gold Coast’s many beaches, parks and waterways provide ample opportunity to gather friends and family together and celebrate Australia Day.
Pack a picnic, some camping chairs and an inflatable rubber thong and you’re sure to have a memorable day in the sun!
But if you don’t feel like barbequing this year then here are a few options you could consider -
Evandale Parklands
From 10am to 4pm on Australia Day, the Evandale Parklands will be buzzing with activity including Australian themed entertainment, Aussie tucker, kids rides and a giant inflatable waterslide! Best of all entry to this great day of family-friendly fun is free!
Southport Yacht Club
Continue the celebration on Australia Day’s public holiday at Southport Yacht Club! Lunch will be available from noon at the award winning Waterfront Restaurant, which will be themed with green and gold!
